I'm a mute!!!

Hmmm. Must be an American thing!!! To be honest, most *English* people have trouble telling where I'm from, other than "Up North". When I'm pis...drunk, I get a slight "south of the city" Scouse accent. I use that term because the accent used by those from north of the city is quite different. Throw in some Lancs (Lancashire), some (although I'm loathe to admit it) Mancunian (Manchester) and some general "Northern" and you're about there!!!

Whats wrong with a Mancunian accent. I've had mine for 62 years. How you goin scouse?

Its similar to when you talk to someone you have never met over the phone... you make a visual representation of what that person might look like based on the voice. What your brain comes up with: What actually is on the other end of the line:

Well you would have to think along the lines of Billy Connolly mixed with Sean Connery and the ability to make the negative positive when talking i.e ye awright naw ?...this has to be mixed with several expletives so this would become "F**k ye F**k*n awright ..naw ? roughly translated "are you ok no" meanining "are you ok yes"? Listen to Robin williams in the Golf sketch he is nearly there....

Guys with terrible spelling and rotten grammar sound like they're posting from a foot powered computer way back in the woods. Everyone else sounds the same to me, except for Dwight. I imagine he's worn the letters off his caps key...

Nah, Lon! (but the number 9 and 0 keys, where those parentheses reside, are lookin' a little worse for the wear lately, dude!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Same with the folks from Australia, you all sound a bit like crocodile Dundee, or Steve Irwin in my head.
