Can any of you fellows tell me how a Triumph America would compare in handling and maneuverability to a Suzuki Boulevard C50?

Yeah...I'm flattered that the guy would go to the trouble of looking through the forum and finding & pasting my previous posts in a thread.
But, Dave needs to pour himself a cold beverage, light up a fresh smoke and relax...and perhaps spend his time reading some other threads instead of mine.
I'm simply trying to get a first hand opinion from Triumph owners to help me make up my mind about buying an America.
I can get a lot more useful info from guys that actually own an America and ride it daily then I can get from riding the dealer's demo around the block.

Let's see, all I did was click on your username and then "show all users posts" and BAM! right there is all the info to questions you've asked before. Did you forget in the past year and a half? Did you think our love for these bikes would change? It's one thing to answer questions from a newbie who is seriously looking, quite another to re-answer your questions when you obviously don't listen the first time.
If you were closer to me, you could get on your cruiser of choice and we could go ride, and I'll show you first hand how much better these bikes handle.
You could see how nice my tail light is.

there's nothing in the size or price range that compares to an America, except a Speed Master. Before I bought mine, I begged and borrowed everything I could; Yamahas and kawasakies and even a HD, and they all had their good points. But when it comes down to it, and you'll have to own one to really know, there's nothing like a Thiumph! It can't be told in words, you'll have to have your own to understand. No stop wasting time and go get it and next year your job will to sit here and explane to strangers what it's like to ride a Thiumph.

Really? Because if I was a betting man, I'd say that you are a guy who's very happy with his C50 (nothing wrong with that, it's a well reviewed bike and I'm glad you have something that's working for ya) and are just here to stir up a little crap and get a little "my bike is better than yours" flame-war going on. Otherwise... if you were really interested in an unbiased opinion, you'd probably post that question in an unbiased forum (one that's not dedicated to one bike or the other). Well, on the off chance that you are really considering getting the America, I've done some homework for you:

While I haven't ridden the C50, I did consider it while I was bike shopping and I can give you my impressions just from sitting on the bikes in the showroom. The C50 is a pretty bike, but it definitely gave off a big-for-no-reason vibe. It seemed bigger than it needed to be and just felt foreign to me. It also seemed like it was trying WAY too hard to look like an HD. When I sat on the Triumph, the first thought that came to mind was "yeah, this is what it's supposed to feel like". I'm very happy I went with the Triumph. Opinions may vary (but the specs don't lie).

Although you may not care about what other people think or what attracts them, the C50 will get no attention where the Triumph will draw people everywhere you go. This drives all my HD friends I ride with crazy.

The C50 has some nice lines but it's so overdone. But don't stop with this tread... it's been entertaining in parts. Before I close... why do you suppose... just why are our bikes called Triumph? I leave you with that.
