I just went over 38,000 on mine (bought new 5 years ago this week) Lots of mods but no problems that were not self induced, and even they were very minor. I just put on the third chain. I'm on the fourth rear tire and the third up front. The more I ride it the more I like it. Let's hear from some of the really long distance riders!

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
