I have the solid HJC with the sun visor. It is excellent. I have a clear shield so I am good to go. I had Lasic so I don't need glasses or contacts. I did put that dark plastic visor about 1 inch wide at the inner top of my shield. It keeps that low sun from blinding me. The release catch is easy to operate while riding with gloves. It has not broken in a years worth of use. The handle that lowers the visor works well also. I would not have a helmet without this feature. I started wearing earplugs for the wind noise. They say it can cause deafness.
