I have to admit that the original owner TBANGA did this prior to me buying the bike so I don't know the cost. I do know that VHT makes a good ceramic paint (about $10 a can) and if you have access to a big oven (or a very understanding wife) you can do it yourself. The three heat/cool cycles to cure the ceramic is just too long for an air cooled engine to do it on the bike.
