One more to share...

At a reception today, my friend's dad and one of his friends (both Harley riders) came out to see my cycle and I heard my first "I didn't know they still made those." One guessed my bike to be a 1992 and the other guessed 1970's. After I answered their questions, both agreed that it was a nice looking bike, and then they headed back into the clubhouse.

Next, I hopped on my bike to leave when a car pulled up beside me. The woman spoke up first by saying, "Nice bike." Then her husband struck up a conversation... "Where is it made?", etc. I took off my helmet and earplugs, and then had a nice visit with the man. At this point, I was feeling pretty good...

Unfortunately, I left my ignition on the whole time I was visiting and wore down my battery to the point that the bike wouldn't fire. My friend's dad had some fun at my expense on that one. A push start from another friend got me going, but not before I heard a few more laughs.

... and then I was humble again.
