I like to partake in different types of beers especially during the summer months. Just wondering what you drink. I will more often than not drink Yuengling

Let's see here.... I enjoy Sam Adams Light quite a bit, when I want a little more flavor, I get some 1554 by New Belgium Brewing Co. or some Dead Guy Ale by Rogue.
For softball games, I usually get some Bud Light, more so because it's cheap and I don't mind if it spills, and it's available in cans. Glass isn't allowed at the park.

For domestic one of my faves is Genesee Cream Ale, for imports, I like Becks, Corona, and Bass Ale, and on a hot Sunday afternoon sometimes a nice Blue Moon.....Hmmm, it must be five o'clock somewhere....

They carry it at Trader Joe's if you have one in your area. Sure was good fresh on tap in San Francisco.

Being a tried and true S.N.O.B. (Supporter of Native Oregon Beer), I usually drink local (with the occasional exception for Stone and Lagunitas breweries. Dead Guy is a favorite every-day drinker, as is Caldera IPA. I also like to keep some Lugunitas Censored (aka Kronik) stocked in the beer-fridge. And although I haven't brewed in a few months, I usually have a keg of whatever I last brewed on tap. For special occasions, I like a nice Fred by Hair Of The Dog brewing. Right now, I've got a case each of Fred and Fred-From-The-Wood (oak aged) cellaring. If I'm out for a pint, I'm usually someplace that brews their own, so it depends on what's on tap and what mood I'm in.

I like beer.

I like Schlafley, a local beer here in St. Louis. The Pale Ale is pretty darn good.

Sam Adams Light is good if I'm gonna be putting several back.

Seems to be a tradition of giving beers odd names....

Sick Duck!
Old Speckled hen
Seriously Bad Elf
Arrogant Bastrd
Moose Drool
Santa’s Butt Porter
Bishops Finger

and the Beer Festival at the Dent Rally (sorry, couldn't resist! ) should feature such wonderous ales as
Rambrau
Kamikaze
T'owd Tup

Personally though, i always enjoy a Guinness

Great adverts too!

Icehouse and Samual Adams are always a stable in this house. I am getting quite fond of Flying Dog Hefeweizen, and when I'm lucky enough to get down to Florida I'm always on the lookout for Ybor City Gold. Of course, anytime I'm in a Brit or Irish pub, Guiness is a must.

Ahhhh something I am related too.
I just brewed a nice Belgian Wit this afternoon, similar to Ommegang if it comes out as planned.
Other then that, I prefer the keg in my frige of my latest homebrewed nectar. I currently have a very hoppy IPA (Spring has Sprung IPA) and a nice California Common (Same style as Anchor Steam) on tap.
Come over for a cold one!

Blue Point Hoptical Illusions. I just ran out and I'm drinking some god awful 10%ABV Triple Horse or something like that. But I generally stick with Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, Summer ale is out now. I'm not a big fan of the light. I sure wish I could find something good for under 9bucks a six pack.

Out of the bazillion micros here in the great Northwest I have to say that Hale's Ales puts out a few of my favs. For an over the counter beer I think our Oregon buddies put out a great beer in their Bridgeport Blue Heron.

Sam Adams Cherry Wheat
Troegs Nugget Nectar
Youngs Double Chocolate Stout
Stone IPA and if none of these are available an Ice Cold Iron City will do just fine.

I used to love Yuengling when I lived back east, but can't get it out here. I've been drinking Fat Tire and Stella Artois lately. Dogfish head is a fav from home also, when I can find it.

Favorite cheap beer -- PBR...

...as endorsed by Frank Booth

(*** Warning -- audio contains F word ***)

I've partaken of some of Dr. Dinqua's brew. One word -- wow. He's the Mac Daddy of the brewmeisters. If he went into the biz, there'd be no holding him back. For real. I suppose getting together that first million or so to open up shop & buy shelf space is a bit of a hindrance though.

As you know Erwin, I'm a regular Guinness drinker but in the summer I'll drink Boddington's, Spaten, Hacker-Pschorr & Newcastle.

Miss-Zoola hosted a Briwfest (Brewfest) on Saturday in Caras Park. There were about 50 regional labels available for sampling. Word to the wise, I didn't care much for the Flathead Cherry Ale. IMO, those are two worlds that shouldn't be co-mingled in the same bottle or 5 oz glass.

The place was packed. There were even people on motorcycles.

Guess I'll be sticking with the Trout Slayer Ale or Bayerns or Moosedrool.
