Is it OK to run engine with plug wire off? Should it be grounded?
No problem running on one cylinder. DO NOT ground it, the bike will die and you could ruin a coil. Just remove the cap from the plug and place it so it is not shorting anything. Be sure to place a fan in front of the bike too so as to assist in cooling while doing this.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.
