If it's not too hard to do, I guess I need to order a 43 sprocket and give it a try. I do want something a little higher than stock. I ride about 60% city / 40% hwy. but where I live there's usually some highway riding on every local trip. I'm sure the new 18/42 will be best for the long trip to Daytona in March. I really want to find the best compromise to avoid changing sprockets back and forth. Thank for all the input - big help!
