Looking for a very lightweight riding jacket with lots of ventilation.

The problem is that by the time I find either a 2xl or 3xl (depending on the manufacturer) for my 52" chest & 44 waist, the sleeves are about 2" too long.

Can anyone make a suggestion as to what to get?

Thanks!

Apehangers, that'll fix the sleeves right up

Seriously, though, don't you want the sleeves longer for riding? My sleeves are always two inches too long when I'm off the bike but that translates into "just perfect" when I'm saddled up.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Herm Albright (1876 - 1944)

If that does not work Vanson will custom make one for you. $$$$$ but fantastic quality and the last one you'll ever buy.

I'm bigger than you and I have a PowerTrip mesh jacket with leather sleeves (and armor). Not exactly a tailored fit but it works and it was cheap.

cycleport can mak you a jacket. The stretch kevlar flows great (I got the pants) and if your in need of a lot of venting you can get the air kevlar which is like mini chain male.
Add all the options and it gets expensive but get a standard jacket and its inline with other jackets but your sure to have an excellent fit.

I'm also fat and I bought a joe rocket phoenix 5.0 jacket. Could not be happier. Sleeves fit me perfect, but i'm tall as well as fat. They are widely available, your local jap bike shop will probably have some in stock that you can try on. Mine did. Also comes with a removable waterproof liner, and best of all, it's only about 130 bucks!
