 Clutch Adjustment?

Now that temperatures have come up after my winter layup I've noticed the clutch seems to be dragging a little bit when pulled all the way in. The bike is very difficult to roll when in gear with the clutch in.
I've tried adjusting via the cable, but it seems to not be helping. That only removes or adds slack.
In the past I've adjusted a lot of clutches on XS650s which requred adjustment of the tension on the pressure plate springs before adjusting the cable. The ultimately was the key to getting it setup correct.
I've also noticed its shifting a little rough/clunky due to this.
Does someone know the formal adjustment strategy for the triumph?
The bike only has 700 miles on it, so I may take it to the dealer.

It shouldn't need any internal adjustments (I don't know if there are any) with that few miles.
Have you tried adjusting at the clutch/trans end of the cable?
I only use the adjustment at the lever for temporary while I'm out riding, otherwise it's always at the bottom.
Be sure to tighten the lever end nut first.

Have you had the break in service performed yet? It could be due to the break in oil.

break-in service was performed in Oct 2008 before putting the bike in storage for our winter.

I have, but I'm going to spend some time on it this weekend to get it right. I only spent a few minutes on it so far.

Put it in neutral. Mine is difficult to roll in gear with clutch in also. Sometimes if I roll it far enough, clutch plates will break free, but still offer a little resistance. Tighten your cable til it only has the slightest amount of slack left in it.
