I don't know what the record is but I purchased my bike in July 2002 and the battery is still cranking well! I don't put it on a battery tender or anything either. I have stored it in heated storage as well as unheated storage and when spring rolls around I turn the key on hit the starter and she cranks over and fires right up! On the other hand I have a 2006 KTM dirt bike that I just purchased battery # 2 for it and it stays in a heated basement at my buddies house. ?????
