George and I are home safe via Danbury, Bristol, Alexandria and Newfound Lake before heading south. We stopped at some friends of George's and were given some home-made maple syrup. Yum! Pancakes tomorrow morning are in order.
Just a few sprinkles in the Salem area heading into MA. Nothing my silly looking but very functional Darth Vader half helmet visor couldn't handle.
Rob and Cathy- thank you both again for hosting such a welcoming and wonderful event. You outdo yourselves every year. Land cleared for the hardy campers, a koi pond with a water feature for the zen inclined, a history making lobster and clam bake, great rides (wet and dry) and good times at Second Wind...
It was so good to ride and chill and laugh with the usual New England suspects again, and very special to meet Chy and Greg from the Southern contingent, and to see Moe again. And way cool that the Rally call is being heard by still more Trumpet riders- Dave and Geoff!
And thank you to everyone for making George and my Sweet Bonnie Marie so welcome and comfortable.
What a great tribe.
