Well I never said Fiat would "save" Chrysler. The idea the article talked about was the they would share small car technology, which is what appears most Americans are looking to get into...everyone wants the new Volt right. In fact, part of the merger deal was Fiat would not dump any money into Chrysler nor would it take on any of its debt. Simply share R&D towards a common goal.
