I was reading an article last week that Fiat was looking to merge with Chrysler to share "small car technology" but only if the unions backed off of some of their consessions. The union refused so Fiat told Chrysler to pack sand. Guess unions prefer no jobs at all compared to backing down even a bit. Wow.
