Just so your aware, the reason I went back to the airbox was I got caught in a bad rain storm out riding with my mates and the bike was spluttering like ****** as the water got sucked into the carbs!!
I am hoping to do a big bore kit over the winter and plan on jetting up the carbs again and use those filters but keep the airbox minus the top cover so the filters are inside the airbox to protect from rain.
