baboon, thats a nice variation. Its weird cause I thought of doing it that way originally because I was going to make custom side covers. But then while looking at it totally hallowed out with no covers I decided to leave it that way and hide as much wiring as possible under the seat.

At first I didnt want to leave the fuse block floating like I have it, but it turned out to be crucial for me. See I have cut springs and was blowing fuses when I hit really hard bumps. Leaving it floating like that allows it to absorb the shock and I havent blown a fuse since.

Toonces, you should cut those tabs off. I know....That one is a pain to cut off. The others were welded out of sight and you could bend them back and cut. But that one is right there out in the open. I hesitated on it for a bit myself.
