ID the fluid, stick your finger in it and smell it. Could be water too from condensation. When you start the bike does that header get hot? Check the float level, attach a piece of clear tube to the bowl drain and hold it up along side the carb. When you open the drain it should show gas to about the seam between the bowl and carb body.
