I find genuine triumph parts don't seem to vary from one place to the next and generally sell for list price. But Hermys sells cheaper. I paid $100 there and thats as cheap as i think you'll find it unless you find an ebay auction for one. Some dealers will knock off 10% like hermys. My dealer knocks off 10 too because i bought my bike there. You may find the same. But in any case heres where i got mine for $100. List is $110... http://www.motorcyclestore.us/triumph/accessories/retro/chrome/index.html

How about finding a stock one and having it chromed?
Probably be cheaper than a brand new one...

Check with Brent at NewBonneville. He chromes stock covers. The quality of my cover was excellent and I believe it was a few bucks cheaper than the OEM Triumph chrome cover. I also like giving my mod money to Brent if I have a choice.

Yea, what Al said. The Trump ones suck! Get yours chromed or get a swap from Brent. You will end up with a superior product either way. Every Triumph cover I have seen, mine included, is all orange peeled in the insides and looks like doggie doo-doo if you look close. I was extremely disapointed and will NEVER buy another piece of Triumph crap chrome again.

I agree with AL. I bought my chromed over stock cover from Brent at Newspeedmaster.com for about $95 and the quality is excellent. --Tom

I believe what you guys say because someone here posted a pic a while back and the chrome DID look horrible. But i had ordered one from hermys already and i was bumming. I guess they vary a lot because without exaggeration the one i got was literally one of the nicest pieces of chrome i've seen ! had i known Brent does this i'd probably have gone that route if he also strips them and all. (if i had to do that myself i'd pass) But in any case i'm extremely happy with the triumph CCC i got.

Hi Roy, In response to your inquiry on Chrome cam covers I hope this info helps. I totaled my 02' TBA Memorial day 04'.Before the crash I had replaced the following with OEM chrome accessories from Triumph. Chainguard, Cam covers, Footrest hangers and sprocket covers. All the stock parts I removed I saved and I was curious as to having them chrome plated for my new 06' TBA. I recieved a quick quote from SUPERIOR CHROME PLATING ATTN: BOBBY BAKER 242 McCARTY ST. HOUSTON TX. 77029-11388 www.JustChromelt.com Here's what I recieved, 1. steel chainguard $ 65.00 2. 2 metal footrest hangers $ 25.00 a piece 1. sprocket cover $ 45.00 1. cam cover $ 65.00 The quality of the OEM chrome pieces on my old 02'TBA was not good quality and I thought was over priced.
I hope this helps you on your journey to accessorize your scooter.

Jan: If that is a reliable plater, those are good prices. I need to get my tail-light bracket and maybe my silencer mounts chromed. Maybe I'll give this guy a shot. Do you have any satisfied references for this place? The link you posted looks like a website, but is not valid.

Hey Al, Sorry for the wrong web site. It should have been http://www.superiorchrome.com. I'll e-mail you the web page if you can't access it. It also looks like this company has been active since 1952 or so.They also have a pretty good web site Jan
