Hi Guys ...I found that the air bubbles get trapped in the banjo fitting at the end of the master cylinder and this is how I sorted it...
Make sure the resevoir is filled to the high level and the cap is on.
Remove the master cylinder and suspend it vertically.
Remove a caliper and then push the pistons back in as far as possible, this will force the bubble out of the banjo fitting and up into the resevoir air space.
Sit the caliper back on the disc and pump the cylinder while its still in the vertical position until the pistons are back out.
If it still feels spongy do it again...i,ve had success on three different triumphs at the first try..My speedy is firm and i cant get the lever anywhere near the bars, cheers, Tadpole
