Btw, I was thinking about buying a pump to make it easier for myself but now I'm not that sure.
To be fair, that was a one time deal, my fluid got contaminated and I actually had to blow air through the line to get all the crud out... the bad part about it was that I just wanted to tighten the lever up a bit because the next day I was headed to Sturgis! I didn't find out until after work, and then I saw this... The one on the left was one that the dealer actually took off of a floor model Bonneville because he didn't have any for an America on hand, and then he stayed open later for me to have time to get there and get it that day after I explained my situation.... Anyway, when I took the reservoir cap off, the old diaphragm swelled out and I knew I was in trouble

Long story short, I had to clean out the entire system that night, and I think I finally got my brakes to work by like 11:00 or 11:30. Contaminated fluid will do that, so make sure you check for any dark spots in it, apparently thats water or other bad stuff to have....

And no, the pieces of grass stuck to it came after I threw it down in the driveway in disgust!
Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.
