Hey thanks everybody for all the help! I'm not sure if i got dicked by this "mechanic" or if the guy was just an idiot and didn't know what he was doing. but seriously saying, "oh thats normal" when my bike sounds like it's going to take a giant crap doesn't give me confidence in his ability to do any thing.
funny thing though, I followed dinqua's instructions and once I got the carbs apart I found out what most already know, that he put the exact same size jets on...120's really? Also I do remember saying," you know I do a lot of reading on this forum and the general consensus is that 150-155 mains will be good.
So as the ol' saying goes if you want something done right do it yourself. I've already ordered the new mains online and I should get them next week some time. on a side note does anyone know where I can find long front brake lines? I put 12" apes on and everything fit neatly except the brake line.
