I recently removed the airbox and put in new XS air filters. From what I've read on this forum I needed to rejet, so I took the bike to a shop (not a triumph dealer) because I didn't want to eff up the carbs by not doing it right. When I got the bike back I immediately noticed that my bike was running like crap, ( not accelerating properly or sluggish,engine sounding like it was missing here or there, strange popping sound). When I asked the mechanic about it he told me,"Oh that's normal when you are dealing with an open air system." But for some reason I don't believe him and think he didn't do the rejet right. Has anybody else had this problem and what did you do to remedy?
