I would have to agree with this statement. When I did my head work this winter, I work backward out and match ported the maniflds to the heads and rubbers to the manifolds and rubbers to the carbs. There was a lot of material that needed to be removed from the manifolds and the rubber boots were even worse, very restrictive and horribly mismatched. These new manifolds are certain to be an improvement over stock. A dyno between between ported and freds would be interesting. Does he have anything test results?
