It's not that heavy, and the intake manifolds really seem to have it more pronounced than the carbs. Maybe it's the way the manifolds are cnc cut that gets it like that. If you look at the side by side pic, you can get a good idea of how much is bored out, look at the difference of where the needle goes down into the collar. That's the smallest place that can be bored out, and it's still a good amount of difference. We're only talking about millimeters here, but the flow numbers are much improved.
