I bought a Nuvi 755T for car/work use, $325 delivered. I chose this model for the free lifetime traffic updates. It has an MP3 player, which I didn't think would be useful. On Saturday, I was heading to Baltimore to ride with some Trump friends (not familiar with the area).

I uploaded a Mapquest route for the way I wanted to take (no interstate) and turned on my Led Zeppelin library. I bought a $6 set of earphones to hear music/commands. The Nuvi broke into songs for directions. This worked pretty well, although I need more of an ear-bud than the over-the-ear phones I bought.

It has about a 1.5 hour battery life but I can charge on the bike. That is if I had remembered to bring along the charging cradle....so, I got home the old-fashioned way. Which means I got sort of lost...
This certainly isn't a perfect GPS for the bike, but it worked well enough for occasional use in virgin territory.
