A little bit of advice from the resident chiropractor...based on back position you would do a lot better if you could move your feet under you (floorboards or mid mount pegs), have a back rest and of course more cushion on the seat. You want to take the pressure off your tailbone and keep your low back with a normal forward curve-not slouched. There are lots of exercises you can do to help too. Ab crunches and hip tilts for starters. As everybody else just said who has been riding a lot longer than me...but I do know backs

lol.

I have a bad back.

I have 'boards, and a gel seat. I also use a back support, and the rear pegs that I move my feet to every so often. (I have a rack on instead of the seat and people ask why I kept the rear pegs on...)

I've had it suggested that the America is not the bike for me... I tell em to get lost. As long as you are sensible and take care there should be no reason you can't ride for miles!

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....
