Hi everyone I'm not new to the forum but this is my first post. If this topic has already been covered forgive me. I have installed ISO grips with LED grip ends. Is there any way to run just the front turn signal without hooking up the rear signals? I'm not a great electrician so any advice would be great.

Do you mean to eliminate the rear or to run the LED front and std. rear?

I don't know why you would want to do that but all you need is the correct load resistor. I don't know what the resistance would be that you need. I do know they make several for putting LEDs on HDs. I use one for my LEDs. You may even need 2 or make your own, any custom bike shop should be able to get you one. Better yet if they had a couple so you could find the correct resistance. It would be like you have a blown rear bulb and then just compensated for it up front. Could even wire it in to the rear signal wires then the flasher would think you still have the rears.

Are saying I could just wire the right rear to the right front? If so where would be the best place to tie into the front wiring at? Again thank you for the help.

According to the wiring diagram...the Green/Red wire off your left turn signal and the Green/White wire off your right run all the way up the bike and tie into the turn signal warning light in your tank console if that helps.

No I was saying to just disconnect the rears and add a load resistor to the circuit.

The load resistor does anyone sell that, if so that resistor does that get wired into the harness instead of the signals them selves?

Well in the case of front and back LEDs it gets wired in with them but in this case it gets wired in instead of the rears. If you read my first post I said they sell them at custom HD shops to replace the regular bulbs with LEDs. V Twin , Drag Specialties , or Custom Chrome sells them not sure what one or maybe all 3 do. I imagine HD dealers have them and wouldn't be suprised if other bike shops sell them too.

Check with Kuryakyn for a load equalizer or superbright LEDs for an LED friendly flasher. Kuryakyn Superbrightleds You would want the CF13GL-02 for teh flasher or they sell load resistors that might help. What your doing is going to be tricky casue your mixing LED and standard bulbs. So....why are you eliminating your rear turn signals?

I am intrested in running only the iso grip end LED's on the front. I've bobbed my rear fender, relocated the number plate, and am looking to clean up the lines of bike. I would like to add a pic or two but I dont have a web page or photobucket account.

Cool! You could build the signals into the corners of the underside of that frear fender, kinda hid em....or a strip of leds that act as turn indicators...similar to the Vrod (I think).

You can see the blinkers on the end of the bars from behind can't you? I was thinking of buying those for just that reason and getting rid of my rear blinkers as well.

I ran these grips and LED bar ends instead of my front turn signals. It looks good, but in my humble opinion isn't all that clearly visible from the rear, especially if your hand slides down the grip a little.
The wiring is simple. You need a load equaliser. You can buy a univesal one on ebay really cheap. If memory serves there are only 3 wires pos, neg and one which you splice into a wire off the flasher relay. The instructions come with it. I'[m hopeless at electrics, but I managed it.

Yes you see the end grips from the rear But as is stated in the next post if your hand goes towards the end in the day time it is a little difficult to see( I mostly use arm signals anyway).

I did not recieve any instructions with my kit or screws either I had to call New Bonneville to get the screws . Their are three wire RED,WHITE,BLACK. Red is for the turn signal, white for the running light, and the black one is the ground. I am currently running the rears to complete the circuit so they will blink. Are currebtly running the front only or both?

In regards to your rear turn signals... I see you mounted them on the fender strut... would you happen to know the bolt size? I'm looking at lights that require 8mm. wanna make sure it'll work... Thanks.

Yes I believe it is a 8mm bolt from where the signals were mounted on the front. Those turn signals and bolts were reused from the front and relocated to the rear.
