Insurance companies often like to talk half truths when they advertise prices. Those term life policies we hear about on TV where the guy pays $300 a year for a million in coverage -- that means he has never been sick a day in his life, and has absolutely no medical or doctor visit history. The rest of us in the real world get a price quite a bit different than that.
Thought for the day for young family folk -- buy life insurance young, before you get sick.
If you get sick, say with Diabetes or a brush with Cancer or the like, you are pretty much un-insurable.
