Mine went on a trip up north. I stopped at a small town bike /lawn mower shop and we bodgied it up with fencing wire. Very interesting when I stopped!!! I carried on to the next town that had a Triumph dealer and was told that I had to wait a week for the spring. So I found a wreckers and he let me go through a huge box of springs. Found a yamaha one that is almost a perfect fit. Then his apprentice put it on for me. Cost .. nothing. It was a bike wreckers in Cairns North Quensland. Nice bloke, can't remember his name though. That was years ago and the spring is still there.
