I got a dunlop on the back and a maxxis on the front. If the dunlop is as old as the previous owner said it was, I only got like 8-9,000 miles out of it so far with very little tread left on the bottom.
Ive had no problems yet with the maxxis, I have about 3000 on that. I had to sign a waiver at the local dealership when getting it mounted because it was a tubeless tire and not "recommended" for my bike because I have spokes.
