I've run the Dunlops K177/K555 for a couple of years now. Have changed the rear once but still on the first front. This is a quality tire and I'm pretty sure I'll get the same ones next time.
I have not had any probs in the rain with the Dunlops either. I'm sure you'll be happy if you get them! If you're prepared for the extra work keeping the white walls clean of course.
