Wellcome to "France" the nanny state move has already started. My complaint about the smokers tax is why do you fund a program SCRIPPS with a product that has a shrinking tax base??? It was all about making you feel good as it's for "the children" (which in this case can stretch to almost age 30). So does this mean when the tax base shrinks to a point that not enough money is coming in to support the plan it's going to stop. Heck no, will have to raise taxes somewhere else to pay for the program. And as far a growing your own, it will soon be regulated to prevent you from doing that on your own (soon to be government) property. Get used to it folks, the progressives feel your not smart enough to be free and it requires there intervention in your lives to protect you from yourselves.
On another note, the PrezBo, is refusing to take repayments of TARP money from several banks. Why, it's all about control.
