 Anyone in the North East do spoked wheels?

Anyone have the tools and/or knowledge to lace and true up a spoked wheel? I'm sure I could figure it out eventually, but I learn a lot better by example than by written instructions... I'd rather not pay a shop to do it down here, plus last summer when I inquired, one local shop told me he hates doing them! uhhh ok... I'd much rather just take a complete wheel to have a tire mounted. And I'd much rather host a tech day than pay for labor to get it laced!!

I can relate to the guy who hates doing it. I too can lace and true a wheel but hate it and don't do it unless I absolutely have to. There was a post on here last year I think it was of an article how to do do it explained in simple terms. It really isn't as hard as you think just takes a lot of time a patience. I just get frustrated that's why I don't do it. If you do it a lot I guess you can do it pretty fast, I don't so it takes me a while.

Yeah that's my fear too... plus when I do something new, I like a second set of eyes ya know?
