Niell, apples and oranges man. We have 50 mpg diesels here too, but this is a 1.6L gas burner. I'd love an oil burner, but they are in such short supply here, that the real enthusiasts snatch em up! And command a premium price, even used. As a European car guy (such as one can be in the states...
