I was cleaning my BA last night and I noticed some black sooty crap on the end of the braided hoses that go to the oil cooler. I did'nt see any oil drips and the oil level is OK. What do ya'll think are my hose's leaking? or is the soot Fairy messing with my bike.

It could be either or both.
Check the torque on the banjo bolts going into the engine (30nm) and hold the lines straight while doing so. Check the torque on the exhaust manifold nuts (18nm) also.

If it's black soot I'd actually be checking the manifold gaskets on your exhaust... that's the only part of the bike I can think of that creates soot.

I used to get that too. Any chance it's brake dust collecting on a film of oil?

Could be that too. I mentioned the banjo bolts going into the engine because mine were slightly loose when the bike was new. Same with the exhaust manifold bolts, there have been a few posts about finding them loose also, and mine were......
