Well, that is a general idea, but I bet the tech tells you they had to position where they did for the "best balance". That might be the truth or BS, who knows. Mine aren't exactly lined up either. (and I bought my installer lunch!)

I mean the car rides just fine, real smooth, happy otherwise, and I think it's just a way to help get the ballance close from the start, but I figured I would ask.
