I didn't know it was still out there, let alone the name change! We don't get any kinds of these maganines around here, anymore. (Grammar, huh?) The last time I saw an Iron Horse for sale, I was just a young fella! On a like note, the local grocery store carried a mag about building hot rods the old fashioned way, (without all the custom billeted, mega dollar parts) called Rodz, I think. I bought a couple of issues, but that was all they carried.

You can get "The Horse, Backstreet Choppers" and "Iron Horse" now. IH is a big of an upscale magazine, features cigars, lifestyle articles, etc. The Horse is great for old style trumps and HD's (almost anything really). I subscribe. The Horse articles can be strange not written very well (Billy Lane article good example) The recent Charlie Manson article made no sense to me, not sure why it was in the magazine. But, the bikes are terrific and an inspiration to why my '66 looks like it does: Quote:

+1 They do get very opinionated and sometimes a bit offensive in an uneducated redneck sorta way but The bikes are awesome.

Bunch of haters run that rag. You can't read an issue without someone knocking on baggers or posers. Anyone getting on a bike no matter what it looks like is ok with me. I did meet GTP and he was cool. Last year I rode with Todd from IH and based on how down to earth and cool with no matter what you ride, I got a sub to IH.

He does seem like a good guy. They do some occasional events in DC to promote the magazine, but I've not been able to attend yet - they look like a blast!

That why I read it. The bike in it are more like mine lower buget builds with stuff I can do. They use solid struts not 5000 dollor custom frames, they build stuff not order it from catalogs, they show other bikes not just new Harleys.
I wish I lived closer to big bike events. I would love to meet the horse staff but I would probly act like a teen age girl meeting (insert what teen age girls go crazy for) And thats not cool not cool at all.

Used to read it late '80s early '90s when Snow/Genghis/Flynch--6th st. cycles/Rosa where there. After they left, the content fizzled. Seems to sorta be come'n back on track......

I like their stories of cross country runs on their HD's. Which are filled with breakdowns, parts falling off, top ends, bottom ends, and clutches disintergrating. Bikes quit running, getting stranded in Nowheresville, quart or two to every tank of gas, etc, etc. Have you EVER read one story where they had a trouble free trip?
And you may see me tonight

No offense, I don't even know you, but what the feck is a poser? This attitude pisses me off to the point of near violence. Everyone is posing something. You're telling me some Pabst Blue Ribbon drinking, vans wearing, chain wallet wearing dude aint posing? Did you ever notice no one ever calls someone a poser? You hear the ****** out of it on forums and in articles.
