D-mn! I didn't know Brent sold plug wires, or I would've gone there or to FastEddy. They do a lot for us behind the scenes. Sorry Brent & Eddy.
I looked for plug wire terminals at two local then two nationwide chain stores with no luck*. I was also hesitant to roll my own, due to the variety of plug wire types for various applications, and the time I would need to figure that out. Aside from generic cable, here in the woods it's all mail order for something exotic as spark plug wire individual components, then mystery wait times for delivery. The other thing was I read somewhere about the potential issues of soldering stainless steel wire, and so on. I hate to pay $60 for $6 worth of parts, but so it goes.
So anyhow -- anybody know how I can test the secondary side of an OEM coil? The Haynes manual has me befuddled on their explanation of that part of the coil test.
*My wife has a Ford with those wrap around P.O.S. battery terminals. While on my four store quest for plug wire parts, I shopped for battery terminals too. No one had anything but bolt type crimps -- no solder or 'real' crimp terminals. WTF folks? I'm not a fan of battery terminals that are near guaranteed to fail like the bolt crimp types, that also allow moisture & corrosion to climb up the copper. I had to resort to mail order to get solder type terminals with heat shrink to waterproof the connection.

It's my belief that it's not a matter of if they are going to fail,
but when they are going to fail.
I spent way too much time chasing battery connections
in four battery per vehicle setups in another life,
and refuse to use these.
That's enough coffee typing for one day.
