"Rendering plant gofer"...
That reminds me of a story.
Many years ago a few bays of our shop were used for over-the-road truck engine maintenance. One of our best and brightest truck service salesmen (?) got a contract signed with a rendering plant to service all of their "tallow" trucks - tandem dump trucks. Back then, they didn't bother to clean them or even empty them before they brought them in for service. We always had them parked as far away from the shop as possible which confused one of our type A personality, highly educated, management trainees. He asked why no one wanted to work on them....
Louie, one of our best truck mechanics offered to "explain" it to him. He pushed a wheeled maintenace stand out to the side of the truck and invited Mr. Wizard to have a look in the bed.
Mr. Wizard wasn't ready for all of the things looking back at him and puked for about an hour before he took the rest of the day off.....
I love a good reality check...
