I have always been a go getter started delivering newspapers at 12 and have been working ever since(35 years so far). I never even got to collect a weeks worth of unemployment, I did get a waiting week in once though but found work before I collected a cent. Newspapers Working in a food warehouse and delivering to restaurants, stores, intitutions etc. Ford garage Vo-Tech getting 3/4 minimum wage Joined PA Army National Guard Basic Training Gas Station Attendant Mechanic at Armored Car Company State Inspection Mechanic Moved and set up Mobile Homes Got a Technician (Government) mechanic job working on Army Equipment in 1987. Promoted to Inspector Worked nights at Bulk Mail and Priority Mail facility. Went to Warrant Officer Candidate School in LA (Lower Alabama) Organizational Maintenance Shop Superviser 5 years. Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic Supervisor 2 years at CSMS (Combined Support Maintenance Shop). General Foreman at CSMS. 22 years working for the Government. August 27th I will Have 30 years in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Currently a CW3.
