this has always been an ongoing debate on which lowering method is better because every option has its ups and downs. I think brackets are dodgy and I have cut springs. Other guys think cut springs are dodgy and they prefer buying new shocks.

Choice is yours. If you want your bike a little lower, buy the shocks if you have the money. If you want it really low, youre gonna need those shocks pretty stiff to avoid rubbing the tire. If you have them that stiff, than whats the point of buying new shocks? Might as well chop the springs and stick em on stiff.
