I had a friend in college that at the ripe old age of 18 had thousands of hours of commercial time from towing banners up & down the east coast in an old Aeronca Chief. Of course, he needed some pretty expensive transponder equipment to traverse the terminal air spaces at Logan and NYC. He loved to slow the Chief down to a 0 ground speed to bust the controllers chops. He could land it on the numbers at Logan...and stay on the numbers!
