I lowered the back of my America with Progressive suspension (412's I think they're called)....WAY better handling when hitting bumps or dips in the road. Honestly can't think of any bad that came out of it...plus it makes the bike look better too, esp. when you're sitting on it, it really drops that back fender down on the tire.
