Hi Lardie , just for the record , we are talking about MILES , not KILOMETERS . Now it's all academic , since we don't know if you're carbed or FI'd . If you're carbed , just make sure the petcock is "ON" and not on "RESERVE" or that sputter will not be a gentle reminder to flick the lever .

I clipped off and filed one leg of my petcock lever so it's "lopsided" , just a touch and I know if I'm on or reserved .
