Glad to hear all's OK and you're back on the road Simon Quote:
Can't figure out how to stick a bloomin picture here
There's a section in FAQ but basically you need have your pic uploaded to a website, Flickr or Photobucket are popular. Then in your mail you put an image link to your pic using the Instant UBB Code tool.
Pics would be good...

Looks great Simon, and better than the link I looked on line.. I bet it handles a little different from your last bike, but you'll get used to it..

Nice bike matey!
I would say keep those forks as they are - definetly a feature of it that isn't seen too often, but if they are a problem then obviously go with changing them.
Any ideas for a rideout yet to celebrate Binky II? Give us a shout.

Yep, glad to be back. Binky 2 looks good, from a distance. Lets just say she hasn't had much love and attention recently. Nothing, I can't fix up. Perhaps some of our American Brothers may have a little experience of Chopper handling (No homoerotic pun intended). At the moment tho I'm thinking hard bags on the back, long fenders, very very black with many, many skulls. Call me old fashioned, but I think I have a plan

Yippee Pony is back!!! So when do we have a Christening ride so that Binky II can meet the beast. Hope you treat her better then Binky. If not, watch out for any mud holes she might throw you in!!!! Not that Binky ever sulked and threw you into the mud of course!!!

Nothing wrong with skulls and old skool mate... you'll be buying a black leather jacket with 14" tassels before you know it

Did think about a springer, but it's a little bit Hardley Durable. Thought I might try a girder front if funds every get to a point where I can get the invoice in under the wifes RADAR First thing I gotta do is fit a new bloomin speedo to the thing and I can't remember what ratio the bugger is either . The Jacket thing was a big mistake. How was I to know that a certain sector of biker society may get the hump, just cost my jacket is back with a white winged skull on it? Some people just have nothing better to worry about! Anyhow, glad to be back and I'll see you all sooon

Man you put a deaths head on the back of your jacket!! I know some of those boys and if you came through that alive with no broken bones you are very lucky. They take that icon very seriously indeed. I would like to get a wrecked bike and build a chopper but right now funds don't permit. I would like to pick up a R3T too not sure what way I want to go first when I manage to find cash if I do.

Whoah! You do know that you're meant to 'earn' that mate... I'd go for a Triumph patch, a little less controversial

ICON motorcycle leathers put the deaths head on the jacket, I just liked the look of it? Doh! Anyway. The latest update is that I managed to crash the new bike. With the stretch on the front, it's very heavy at low speeds. I know that with the short speedy bars, it can be a bit of a struggle to hold the front end steady. So why oh why, did I wave back to my neighbour as I turned into the drive? Anyway, the wheel folded under me and down she went. I've only been back on the road for 2 weeks after the collar bone was deemed well enough to ride. Not fast, only about 10MPH, But landed very hard. Took most of the impact on my broken shoulder, which hurts like ****** this morning . As for binky II, well, the left hand control made a big ol dent in her tank and the indicators are shot.Snapped clutch cable and dented headlight! Guess I'll havbe to start work on her sooner than intended.

Your heavy front end may be due to incorrect trail. This site explains it pretty good. http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/rakeandtrail.htmlEric

Blimey,
I hope you didn't do too much to the shoulder because it sounds like the bike isn't too badly mashed up and easily fixed.
Give me a shout if you need a hand mate.

That sucks! First things first. Get you some 36" drag bars!

Got me some Fehling, wide, low down and dirty bars which come in at about 36". Gonna use the polished controls of of Binky and internally wire them. Hopefully, It'll make for a nice position, if I can move the foot controls forward. So I'll be doing the cut and shut on my spare control bars. This was all planned for the longer term, I'll just have to bring things forward a bit. I wanna try all sorts of things like splitting my spare tank in to two half tanks etc. Out of adversity Triumph! I'll start a thread in the custom section, but I'm not that reliable when it comes to keeping such things up to date.

A new word for your vocabulary Simon. Chop flop. Well, OK, two words It's an inherent issue of extended forks and low speed turns. No cure if you want the look, just learn to expect it.
