I have changed my handlebars on the bike... The Master are now in a different position ( Different Angle ) and the level doesn't gauge to where it's supposed to.
Question is : Does it mather?
My Master and the reservoir are parralel to the ground as much as I can. I didin't remove any fluid, so the quantity should be good and not affect the braking?
What do y'all think of this?
Thanks

two things: 1) Make sure there is no chance of the fluid level ever getting so low that air can be sucked/pushed into the line through the feed hole. 2) For checking the level purposes...cant you turn your front end and get the resevoir somewhat level? If you cant do this then how are you going to fill it when you get low and how are you going to make sure you can push your calipers back in when its time to do your pads? If you cant check the level then you might be at risk of my #1 point above. It would really suck not ot be able to stop when you really need to

Basicly you are OK as long as the master can't suck air at any point in breaking or bar position.

I have had buckhorn bars on my 2007 America for about 6,000+ miles. No problems with brake fluid or brakes.

The reservoir is tilted with the Buckhorns and holds a little less fluid, but as long as you keep it above the suck hole it works ok. You just have to keep an eye on it as the pads wear and the pistons travel further.

So I should open up the cover and see the level inside the master, to make sure it clears the hole that goes into the hose?

What "kind" of handlebars did you go with? I also installed buckhorns and like others here at the time, filed off a part of the brake housing, so the it would clear the bars and affix in a nearly parallel position. Yes, you can turn the bars all the way left (Thanks Z), remove the cap and check the level. For the cautious types, laying a clean towel on the gas tank, underneath the brake cylinder is a good idea. Or if you're simply "clumsy" like me
Like Deon said, brake line air bubbles are bad juju. Well, he didn't say juju, but you get the point.

I put some Z bars on. The Hand part is 11.25" and it goes down at about 25 degree.

There's a sight glass on the reservoir with a line on it indicating the correct level. Turn the bars to the left and see where the fluid level is....
