Hey Guys - We made up a new oil pressure kit that mounts to the engine cover. We've priced it very aggressively at less than $130. Let me know your thoughts.

Our stem mount OPG is installed on this bike. 2 OPG's may be a bit overboard...

Ya know what's funny? I put your gauge on "that other" bracket in the same spot. Matches my NB temp gauge

Looks good. Wonder how difficult it would be to have both temp and pressure gauges mounted together on the same bracket?

Yeah, but that a-hole won't sell me one of his. Thought about having Freedom get it for me or finding one used but now I don't have to.

I have to second Leno's idea of coupling the pressure and temp gauge on one bracket. That might be pretty cool me thinks.

Definitely cool, but the main issue would be having a sending unit for the temperature. Our temp gauge has an analog sensor that picks up oil from splash. Moving it from the actual oil flow would be expensive and cumbersome. I think Benny has done it the proper way if you want both temp and pressure. Maybe he can post another pic of what he's done??

Do your gauges carry any kind of warranty? My NB oil temp gauge has developed some "fogging" inside it, making it difficult to read.

Here is the gauge I made and it is very close to the position of the BP one or the copy of that one posted above. The position is very close so no need to put them both on one bracket.

Mine replaces the wire retainer on the earlier bikes, bolting to the front 2 bolts of the sprocket cover where the one here is on the 2 bolts on the upper rear corner of the timing cover but it gives you the idea.

Thanks for the pics, Benny! I appreciate it.

International shipping on the gauge alone would likely be in the $35 range via USPS Express Mail, which is trackable, insurable and typically takes 4-7 days for delivery.

The Oil Temp Gauges have a 1 year warranty, Rob. Shoot me an email and we'll see what we can do for ya.

Brent,
Is that pic of an earlier design mount?

The pic I posted is Brent's gauge on the BP bracket. I had the BP gauge, and Brent sent me a beta version of his stem mounted unit to try out, give him feedback etc. I ran it on my stem for a season, and decided to get the best of both worlds I just like it better down there, cleans up my "dash" a little. I think his bracket is different.

Right you are, Benny. I just wanted you to post the image to show what having an OPG and OTG together looked like.

Wishlist dream gauge:

Over and under single round analog mechanical
illuminated oil temp and oil pressure gauge,
handlebar mounted in a bullet enclosure,
with single braided stainless
looming for as long as
possible.

In white face and backlit please.

One could wonder if there is a market
for one of these from the entire air
cooled sector, even the HD folk?

Now if we really want to get out there:
A bullet enclosed handle bar mount
analog tach with side by side
left & right oil temp & pressure needles
below the tach needle sweep

Let's go all out, and make the LED based illumination
adjustable via a flush mounted screw.
LED available in colors too.

Bullet enclosure available in chrome,
flat black, or primer for paint to match.

Mmmmmm -- mmm

Yeah once I get it out in the sun for a bath, I'll take some better pics too. But yeah the matching gauge faces are nice

No Apologies necessary, Bucky. It may seem fanciful, but that's exactly how new ideas are imagined. I thank you for that and please keep it up!!!

You have no idea what you just started. He'll temp you to his house with grilled steak and grandma's macaroni and chee and then it's all over. You'll need to bring your own court reporter to keep up.
