It's only 870 miles from Houston, and that's going through Mobile, Al. I'd rather ride north through East Texas, then cut across somehow - I'd figure that out.
Anybody else up for a ride?

Brent was going to attend last year but had to cancel at the last minute... perhaps he could be persuaded to give it another go.

I don't know anything about the GA rally. Is there a link so I can find out more about it?

Yep! matter of fact there is. Go to the top of the page and click on Bonnevilleamerica.com home then look to the left of the page and click on "events". You'll find basic info there such as dates, location and a link for lodging, restaurants and such. While you're there check out "event photos" lot's o' pics from the '04 rally in there. In '04 we went took a trip down to TMA corporate headquarters in Newnan and did a lot of running the twisties.. we will likely go back down this year if I can iron out some details. We also have a "tech day" where we tinker and tweak bikes, drink beer and generally hang out. There are a lot of great riding roads in the area so we spend a good bit of time on the highway but still leave time to celebrate life in general and spend time with like- minded folks. Drop me a PM if you have any questions... hope to see you here next year... Chy

Soon... I've been thinking about doing the Dragon this year, we had a great time when we went and I think a lot of the guys would really enjoy that. It would be way cool if we could do the Dragon and swing back through the Cherohala Skyway... That would be a hard days ride but I might give it a try this spring to see if it can be done.

Hmmm, a pre-rally rally, I could go for that. Maybe a post-rally rally as well. Then there's the NY rally to think about as well.

I'm just a little disappointed - all these posts and only one other Texas rider even replied. I KNOW we have more of these bikes in Texas than that. Maybe there's another rally that weekend I don't know about?

It doesn't look good for me - really not for the next 3 years. Kid's graduations are going to be an ISSUE! Things could be worse. Thanks for reviving this thread, H.P.. I'm still amazed that no other Texas riders respaonded or seem interested. Of all the rides - this one sounds like the ONE I want to make.

Man, you said it. Our host Chy is one of the best guys ever. Just to meet him is worth a 1000 mile ride. And Di? All I can say is you are a VERY lucky man Chy!! God bless you Di, see you soon.
The rides? Shoot, that's God's country up there. There's only a few of those places on the planet.
The people? You get to meet, ride with, drink with, and bullshite with some of these chuckleheads that you 'talk' to here. Now, how cool is that?
This is the 3rd time we are doing this and it keeps getting better and better. I feel for you buddy and we will hoist a beer or two to ya!!
