My mistake I looked closer and those are gaiters. It looked to me the way the light is hitting them that he put coil over springs the way the old 60s bikes were set up and the only way he could have gotten black behind there was to paint the fork tubes!  I looked at it a few times too trying to see what he did!  Optical illusion to me. And after I just razzed you in the other thread about the risers. Just think I don't use any drugs or drink either!
